Originally this game was just crap, but the author decided to delete my review of it because apparently I'm not allowed to dislike this game, so I'm reposting my review and reducing my score from 2/10 to 0/10 for the author's inability to take criticism. Its one opinion. Take it as such.

This feels like a cheap promo for the song at the end. The controls are slippery, the art direction is lazy and unoriginal, figuring out what is a platform is difficult and the hit boxes for them are too small sometimes and too big other times, the broken door was bullcrap. Seriously, don't change the rules without telling the gamer. Also it takes to long in between running and being able to use a door or interact with the environment. The puzzles are lazy and poorly structured, and this game has about as much depth as a saucer.
Seriously, is this what passes for front page material these days? This is a poor excuse for a video game, stuck in that seemingly endless vortex of shitty black and white "artsie" sidescrollers. Also, that was a lot of bullshit for a pointless ending.

Seriously not all that great. The graphics are straight from Minecraft which is pretty sad considering other games on here like the Madness games or Dad Game. Also, the controls are stiff, and I think the physics are broken. It likes to glitch and not kill me sometimes, while killing me at other times. All in all, its not a bad idea, but maybe throw in a hook, like for example make the skateboard have a point, other than just sliding me into enemies. and making me jump more than necessary.

Daily what?

How was this given any awards at all? The controls are stiff and I feel like I have to force everything I do. Ducking is extremely delayed, there's only one song, and its not even that enjoyable. The animation is mediocre and its just another goddamn stick figure. The level design and gameplay is uninspired and repetitive. Its like you didn't give a shit. The graphics never change. Everything is monotonous and boring.
At least its playable.... but who would want to?

Pathetic.

Stunning

This game is absolutely fantastic! You have a hell of a lot of talent. I do have one bug to report though: I hit the last switch, and it didn't do anything. Maybe I did something wrong, but I saw the ending on youtube. Keep up the great work!

Badass

This games is extremely well done. I found no problems with controls, graphics, or music. It all fit together really nicely, and the tutorial was simple and stayed out of my way. This isn't usually my type of game, generally because I'm not very good at defense games, but this one was a lot of fun. Great upgrade system too! Keep up the good work!

Um... am I missing something?

Well the game was good in all regards except that the monster walked on its own rather than having controls that made sense, say... THE ARROW KEYS? Furthermore, I seem to die WAAAAY too much in this game. Either its supposed to be that way, or I'm missing something, but it tells me to go for a high score by beating it in as few days as possible, but at the same time, get the most money, which means I have to play easy stages over and over to get the money, but that takes time, and gets boring. This was an interesting idea, but I think a sequel that improves everything is what it needs. In the mean time, I'm gonna go play a fun game like, say Rampage?

A worthy tribute

Excellent level design, precise and simple controls with great graphics, music and gameplay driven by a simple but moving plot. Brilliant! I beg to see a sequel.

Decent, but....

Sorry to say, as nice as it looks, it has some major problems. First of all, it feels like a game that can't decide whether its a platformer, or a runner, which are two things that don't always mix well. Secondly, it doesn't replenish your health at the end of each level, and doesn't tell you how to restore it. I have a hunch that it has something to do with jumping on enemies in a combo, or score, or something.

Third, I got a powerup, where I upgraded to 4 health... things, but I died once and lost it. That's screwy. If the player earns upgrades, they shouldn't be taken away unless they run out of lives.

The final problem I have with it, is the controls. While it seems like a simple concept, the jump button should not be the space bar. Using Z, X, or C are the best I think somewhat like Canabalt. Furthermore, the dash function is WAY too touchy. I was simply trying to kill an enemy and use the bounce to cross a gap, when the dash activated before I hit the enemy, and I plummeted down the gap, unable to save myself. And this happens a lot.

Nice design, nice music (although more wouldn't hurt), but I'd say a work in progress. Cheers!

Dadworthy, and then some

Its not as good as the movies, as far as the randomness of Dad's actions go, but I think this got as close as damn well possible. Besides, this game is epically fun! Whether you button mash, or strategically plan out your actions as you go, this game is going to thrill all who play it. Not even repetitive! You have achieved a very unique level of excellence, setting a new standard for flash games. Keep it up!

B-E-A-UTIFUL!

This game is excellent. The running, jumping through panes of glass, all of it is just EXHILERATING! I think you should name this character, and create a sequel. I love the fact that the levels are random, so its fun EVERY TIME I play it. Excellent job?
